Glimpses of caroling.

From 20th-22nd Dec, the Gospel Assembly carollers, well, went caroling! haha :) It has been the most hectic December, ever for me because this year, I was in charge of caroling. Being a conductor is fun yet nerve-wrecking. So many things to plan, so little time. But all in all, I thank God that He made it possible. Made everything smooth-sailing and well. Made everyone healthy and sore-throatless. haha. It's all Him, not me :) Thank you God <3

Amanda's 20th.

Celebrated Amanda's 20th on the 26th. Her bday's actually on the 27th. Went to 7atenin9 in Ascott Hotel. The place is amazing. The food's not bad actually but the place is quite expensive. Anyways, mei did a great job organizing and inviting people. Sorry I couldn't help! :s Met a few old church members as well. Ended up taking loads of pics and catching up. Bake bake bake..

Just got back from church. Caroling and drama practises. Caroling's starting this Saturday night all thru' Monday night. Hope I can last.When they told me a few months ago that I was gonna be in charge of caroling this year, I kinda freaked. But thank God things worked out ok. Tiring day. Baked apple pie in the afternoon. It's a very long process, or maybe it's just cos' I tire easily :/ Brought some to church just now ('cos I can't possibly eat all myself). Haha. It's full of hearts because that's the only shape for small cookie-cutter than I have and there was excess dough :P

Weeee!! Baking again soon but need to find more recipes!

The problem with people nowadays, whenever a problem arises, they just ignore it. Sweep it under the rug and that's it. Done deal. Why can't people just deal with the problem and solve it once and for it? Is it the fear that things won't work out the exact way they planned it too? 'Cos I don't believe that it's comfortable, let alone healthy to let it be the way it is. *sighs* Who am I kidding?

Do whatever you want then you. Live each day and believe that if you leave things hanging the night before, the morning will come and it'll be a whole new day all over again. It may work, but not every single time. Well, at least, not for now.

I think being weak and ill has made me feel remorseful and upset, over what, i really dont know. I'm feeling delusional. It's like it's all coming to me now, and hitting hard, at all the sore places. I guess the hole in my heart didn't really heal, not a bit, in the first place. The pain definitely didn't weaken over time, it was just numbed by things happening around me, things moving too quickly for me to grasp. Or maybe I had gotten stronger, strong enough to bear it. Just maybe. I used to wonder how long this could last. Maybe someday, many many years from now—if the pain would just decrease to the point where I could bear it—I would be able to look back on those few short months that would always be the best of my life. And, if it were possible that the pain would ever soften enough to allow me to do that, I was sure that I would feel grateful for as much time as he’d given me. More than I’d asked for, more than I’d deserved. Maybe someday I’d be able to see it that way. But right now, I just can't hold it in anymore. And I've successfully driven people whom I care about and who care about me away. Not away totally, but far enough. It's all coming back to me, I can't contain it... You said forever and always.

OMG. I am so addicted to Twilight and the whole series (books I mean). Just finished New Moon after reading it for nine hours straight. It's seriously so addictive, and after reading it, can Edward Cullen be anymore perfect than he already is? Apparently, he can. I'm going to go get Eclipse and Breaking Dawn tomorrow. At least now I've got something to keep me occupied for the holidays.

Oh yea, and another thing keeping me occupied, this stoopid fever:( and not to mention, the absolutely annoying, and tiring, vomiting that comes with it. Not good. Been feeling so weak the past couple of days. sigh. I'd better get back to bed now. tah.

IMU CF Christmas thingy =)

CF and CSS held its annual Christmas celebration on the 3rd of December 2008 in IMU. The theme was Agape- which means unconditional love. Quite appropriate I would say as Christmas is coming. The event started at 6.45pm. The turnup was quite good- more than what I had expected:) It was great.

First there was worship- Natasha was a wonderful worship leader and I helped her back up (scary experience:/ but was fun), then there was the skit by Jeremy Joseph- job well done, and then a short sharing followed by dance performance by Wei Chin and gang. hahaha. All in all, it was a superb night, had a lot of fun!! :) Helping out with the wrapping of door gifts.I love the heart which says Agape <3

Me and Nat, the only ones who adhered to the dress code, green and red:/ Jae Ric and I (with the gun from the skit) hahaha. Silly boy Kay Teck. I have sooo many funny pics of him I can blackmail him for quite some time :P Christian Fellowship and Catholic Students Society. Edwina and Elvyna :) Elvyna. Esther. It ended at 10pm and after cleaning up and all, we went off to the mamak near IMU. Mostly Sem 1's. haha.

Busy busy busy!

Firstly, I've begun editing pictures! Woot! Found a really cool software recommended by Stacie (Thanks dear!) and now I've edited some. Take a look at all of it below and tell me what you think:P

Went out to Dessert's Bar in Casa Tropicana on Sunday after church with Stacie, Amanda and Aaron. It was really sort of an impromptu thing cos' we were bored and Aaron had free vouchers for the stuffs there. Well, it was really really yummy, the dessert. Ordered a few stuffs but the one I liked most was:It was really really nice with all the fruits and frozen ice cream which we could dip in chocolate followed by nuts. yummy :) After Dessert's Bar, we went to The Curve to watch Twilight. Was a really really good movie to me and Robert Pattinson is just absolutely yummy in it. The character he plays, Edward Cullen, is just the epitome of what a boyfriend/partner should be like. Go watch it all you guys out there to learn how to be better boyfriends. haha:) But don't watch the cinema one though. It's censored throughout :/

Then we took some pics along the street (for flea market) decorated with beautiful Christmas lights and trees and such (think elves, reindeers and pretty shiny baubles). It was a really pretty sight. Did I mention I really really love Christmas? <3

Ate in Kim Gary's for dinner. Chat till they closed. Was really INTO catching up. teehee. See guys? We should do it more often to avoid situations like this. Bring mei too next time :)Their side. Our side.

Stayed over at Stacie's house after that (her parents weren't home!) and stayed up the whole night chatting. Went out to Times Square the next day. My first time in Times Square!- quite an experience I would say. haha. Dropped dead on my bed once I reached home late at night.

Moral of the story: Get some LOADS of sleep prior to a sleepover :D
