Malaysian Dinner.

The Southampton International Medics Society (SIMS) president, Hwai Jing, invited a bunch of us from IMu including the 3 Brunei students over to their place for a Malaysian dinner last Thursday. Was a really nice time bonding with them and omg, the food they cook, WAAAYYY awesome! (: I'll let the pics talk.Chicken RICE! So nice (:
TOFU! I miss eating tofu since I came here.
Taugeh (:
Real chicken rice.
Roasted chicken. This was really awesome. This is the before pic. Somewhere below is the after pic.
17 of us squeezing in the kitchen. There was really no space to walk once we were seated. But it felt cozy (:
Few of them had to sit on the kitchen countertop due to lack of space.
The after picture of the chicken.
Hwai Jing's the one in yellow.
(l-r): Mi Ju (south korea), Rhuban (Msia), Luve (Msia), Sue (Sri Lanka)
Card game after dinner. MAFIA! (:

All in all, really enjoyed getting to know these people and really appreciate them being so accomodating to all of us! (:

Just got back from my first day of postings in Winchester. It isn't too bad but it is quite tiring and scary cos' now, it's really talking and examining real life patients. No more simulated patients and what not. Hopefully I'll be able to cope. Posted to Elderly care ward for 4 weeks to begin with! Old people are nice, yes or no? (:

Next up: Pics from London! Too many so gotta sort them out first!

xoxo, elvyna.
