Came back from Winchester today and checked through the mail and was surprised when I saw that there was a card from Malaysia for me. Rushed back to my flat to open it and it's a birthday card from my Mum. It's the sweetest thing ever and I just cried reading its content.
I miss my family so much :( Turning 21 in 2 weeks without them just doesn't feel right, not at all :( But this card is better than nothing. I am grateful I have the family I have. Love them all so much.

The weekends are here again, I'm so happy! (: I love the weekends. No more hospital attachments, or Friday lectures. Started my first French class yesterday. Chose to do French as my Student Selected Unit. It's gonna run on for 2 months and then I'll be assessed. It's not too bad so far. Pretty cool but I've only learnt the basics now. HAHA. Wonder how funny I actually sound speaking French :P
Went to a Christian Union meeting yesterday. Boy, were there many people. About 300+? And they're from all over the university. Not just medicine. So yea, all the churches in Southampton sent reps to distribute brochures and talk bout their churches. Got a couple in mind I wouldn't mind going to but gotta check it out first. Was a great feeling just being in the same place as so many people who are in the same faith. Pretty reassuring I would say. I pray I find people who can help me grow and whom I can mix with.
The weather in Southampton has been pretty good. Was kinda warm the past couple of days with the sun out and all. There's still the breeze though so its not too bad. I like the weather now (: Anyways, gotta go out now for some lunch with the Medics Society. See Ya!
