IMU cup cheerleading.

After almost 5 months of practise and training, MEDT 1/08 had our cheerleading competition yesterday. It was held in the atrium in IMU from 8pm-12 something.It was also the last event of IMU cup. There were 6 teams altogether. We were the 2nd to perform. Words cannot describe our feelings while we were practising for the last time before the competition. Butterflies in the stomach, anxiety, fear, anticipating to the very minute we were going to perform.

Wei Chin said a little prayer for all of us. It was great. She's great. The pep talk she gave really helped us have confidence and calmed us down. We then rushed to change and do make up. I dont know what else to say.hahaha.

Anyways, we got third place!!! How AWESOME is that? All the hard work and bruises paid off. Like Wei Chin said, " in the beginning we knew nothing about cheerleading and now, we're all cheerleaders!" It was a really great experience and new friendships were formed as well as old ones grew stronger. They're a great bunch of people and I love all of 'em!! I'll miss cheerleading practises now :( Oh wells, I hope we'll get to do it again!!
