So yea, the first day, there was nothing much, just dinner, ice breakers (which were really cool-met ALOT of new ppl- some of those whose names I can't remember anymore:S), supper, socialising and then off to bed. Oh yea, there was this super fun thing as well, when we reached, the committee assigned each person a "mortal"- it could be someone u know or didnt know. So for the whole camp, you'd be like an "angel" to that person, eg. buying stuffs, treat them nice, write notes. The mortal wouldn't know who you were until the very last day,so yes, that ups the suspense factor for quite some time, much to my dislike:S My "mortal" was a really tall, and I mean TALL, half-German guy called Roderick from Sem 3 if I've not mistaken.
Had to wake up at 7.30 am the next day. For the whole 3d 2n stay, I was always the latest to get up in my dorm. No surprise eh? ;P Anyways, Saturday was a very packed day. Had games and 3 sessions from the speaker- Annette. She's quite good and fun to listen to. The games I enjoyed most, my group even won 3rd Prize! There were 10 groups altogether. Go Verbinden~Group 1!! That's German/ Dutch for Connect. The theme of the camp was Designed to Connect. I was in the same group as Amos again and his housemate as well, Joel. Oo. Yinn Cher was in my group too. Not bad looking guy from Sem 4. At least I know someone who thinks he's hot :P haha. Anyways, our group was so funny. Our leader, Lieo Juin was superb. At a point, he called us Group 5. Accidentally. HAHA. We had fun altogether.
Yea. On Saturday night which was the last night, we had a campfire. It was really cool. I'll post a video soon to show the whole thing. Roasted marshmallows and sang some songs by the campfire. Pretty extravagant huh? Like those typical movies. Haha. Jimmy, the CF president tried to be nice and gave us a curfew at 1.45 am as opposed to the one we had the night before at 12 am. However, me and a few other friends ran away from our dorms and hid away from the "officers". We chatted till 4 am and I dropped dead in my dorm after that.
Was the latest to wake again the next day:) Did morning devotion with group and all then went for the last session. We had to write on stones what Jesus meant to us and all, which i think was really cool. Had a prayer moment and then off to prize giving session. We were surprised we even won anything cos our group leader gave us our very own "water-break" in the canteen while the other groups were playing the games. Haha. We're the most unorganized group one can ever find around. Lastly, the angel-mortals were revealed to each other. My angel was Joshua- whom I kinda already suspected anyways. Roderick thanked God for giving him such a bully-able angel :S RIGHT...
Campfire which was my fav:)
Some of the rocks ppl wrote on. Mine's the light blue one with the smiley :)
My SUPER- TALL "mortal" Roderick. Yes, he is that tall. No tip-toeing whatsoever.

All in all, the camp was a really inspiring one. I might've gotten disconnected from people around me during the past year or so, family, friends, myself and even God. This camp kinda made me open my eyes and see all the disconnections around. I'm gonna try to stay connected this time- especially to God. CF camp rocks! I'm sooo going for it again next time around. Jeremy Lee and Jeremy Cheah rocks too! :P The random-ness :)
xoxo, elvyna.
