It's getting colder and colder everyday. Brrrr.

Bought groceries today to last a week, hopefully :/ Made maggi curry (can you see it on my kitchen stove?) for dinner today just cos' I'm craving for it. Been good so far, no cravings for any particular malaysian food. YAY ! (:

Finished season 5 of How I met your mother yesterday and watched 3 movies. Remember me starring Robert Pattinson is actually quite nice. It's pretty sad though but it got me thinking alot. Like how life is fragile and how we should always appreciate people around us. Another reminder to be a better person.

Weekends come and go so fast I start postings again tomorrow! :( This is sad. Ah wells, be happy. London this weekend! Something to look forward to.

It's making me happy (: Plus the fact that Wednesdays are half days and I'm home from Winchester postings for today is making me extra happy as well. I'm all smiles now (:

Sometime last week : Jason's much talked about lamb stew! Awesome taste and we both finished the whole pot! Well, overnight pot that is. We had it for dinner the night before.

Last night: Spaghetti Bolognaise we made last night. We made a really big pot so it's dinner for 2-3 nights in a row. But heck, it really tastes so awesome! Some secret ingredients in there (:

Teehee. OK. I'm in a really chirpy mood now. Just stapled a whole bunch of rainbow coloured origami birds on my pin board. So pretty now. Me likes! Gonna do laundry later with steek.

Under the weather :(

Been having a really bad sore throat since a couple of days ago but now it's gotten worse and I've got a slight fever and an even sore-r throat. It hurts even when I talk or swallow saliva :(

I don't like falling sick at all.

It makes me emotional by amplifying the fact that i'm so far away from home with no family or friends to care for me :(

Go away fever and sore throat and cough and flu! >:(

Typical doctors would say, drink more water. In this case, I've tried and besides going to the loo for at least 10 times a day, my throat just seems to be getting worst :(

Big City escape (:

Went to London over the weekends to visit my aunt who's working there. First time in London and I successfully took a bus from Southampton to London Victoria and found the way to my aunt's place. Not too bad for a first timer eh? (:

Anyways, I kinda like London. It's a pretty place with lots of sights and history. Almost every street I went to had a monument of some sort and it was just a really beautiful place to see and explore. There were lots of people everywhere but I'm not too sure if that's the way it usually is or it was just because it was a weekend. Anyhow, I explored quite a bit, I must say, in just 3 days!
First time taking a tube to Westminster to meet my aunt. First sight of London I saw. So pretty (:

1 star Michelin restaurant, Nobu on Park Lane. Japanese food! I miss sushi zanmai so much! Oh! I met Maroon 5 here. They were dining 2 tables away from me. Again, too pai seh to take picture with them just because its such a high class restaurant :/

The only fish I'll ever eat willingly. Black cod fish with miso sauce. The yummiest thing I've ever eaten. Too bad that piece itself is 32 pounds :(

A little update bout my attachments at Winchester elderly ward:
Loving it so much, the people are so nice and helpful, the patients are so friendly but its really sad seeing old people who have dementia and are delirious. But anyhow, I just love sitting down and chatting with them if I'm free. So much to learn and so many stories to hear. If only I had more time to hear their stories. Sometimes all they need is someone to talk to. Well, I'm loving every bit of it (:
