IMU's got talent finals.

So a few weeks ago, my friend Jien organized an event called IMU's got talent to help Kher Lik raise funds for IMU ball. He then asked Kyan and I to join it. He was getting really scared cos' apparently the feedback wasn't so good and no one was joining and blablabla.. so we signed up. FOR JIEN. And then we went to the audition, singing A Whole New World (The Aladdin theme song). The next thing we knew, we were in semi finals, in which we sang At the Beginning (Anastacia theme song). And then, we were in the finals. Honestly, I didn't know we could make it so far in the competition. I mean, it was just for fun anyways. Anyway, so the finals were last night. And boy, was I nervous and I started panicking and all. In the end, I screwed up both performances (sorry Kyan). Thanks to everyone who voted for us. Really means a lot and I appreciate it :) 1st round of finals- singing Quando Quando (Michael Buble feat. Oh yea, and thanks for the awesome poster/banner you guys made for me. Seriously, I almost cried when I saw it. So touching! Sayang all you guys so much!!! And you know what? I realized after I reached home yesterday night that we didn't take any, ANY pics together :s ish. nevermind. next monday :)

So in the end, Kyan and I got 3rd place. All thanks to you guys who voted to cover up the low scores by the judges. haha. LOL :D Oh wells, I can't deny I did have fun through it all. Singing with Kyan (he's such an amazing singer) and learning so much along the way. I guess the experience has taught me so much. Will treasure the memories.

Not to self: please please PLEASE, DO NOT AGREE TO JOIN-so as to avoid unnecessary stress and possible tachycardia which may lead to sudden cardiac death. LOL(:

I'm just a little bit caught in the middle. Life is a maze and love is a riddle. I dont know where to go, I can't do it alone I've tried. And I don't know why. I'm just a little girl lost in the moment. I'm so scared but I don't show it. I can't figure it out. It's bringing me down I know. I've got to let it go.

Everything in life truly does happen for a purpose. A reason. At the point when it happens, things may seem like such a blur and all but in the future, you'll actually be able to see things in a different light and perspective. Case of point, ME. Truly so much has happened since I entered IMU, so much I've learned, so many things I've seen, and yes, no one said it was going to be an easy experience, but I've come out of it so far, and I am, stronger and more mature in more ways than one.

God's timing is truly amazing. His plans are not my plans (definitely), and His ways too, not mine. Sometimes in life, we can get so caught up with what WE want, what WE plan to achieve, what WE WE WE.. That's when things should come to a halt. Take time to ponder again, the whole purpose of life- to live according to His will. Not ours, but HIS. And that's what I'm coming to grasp, to learn, that the whole point of my existence in this world is Him. Nothing more, nothing less, and surprisingly, I like it. wait. I love it.

A few years ago if you told me all this would happen, I wouldn't have believed you. I wouldn't have ever thought that life could be this MEANINGFUL, this PURPOSEFUL, but it is. It truly is. And to be a blessing to people around me or just to take some time to listen to them, I'm beginning to truly understand the amazing grace and love of my Father. And to all those ppl who've been such an amazing blessing to me, sending me notes, cards, smses of encouragement, cookies, pat pats, hugs, I cannot begin to thank you guys. It really does brighten up my day the way you all take time to just pen down something for me or walk over and hug me. I love you all (:

Things are not always what they seem to be, actually, there is ALWAYS more than meets the eye. And time is something I can offer to those who need it. It's one of the simplest things in life which we tend to overlook nowadays, but really, even a simple 5 minutes to a dear friend can make a whole lot of difference. I'm glad I made a difference in your life. Even though it's just one, it has truly made me such a grateful, thankful and happy person, thinking of how God is so amazing and I'm beginning to count my blessings for all He has done for me and is going to do. I know there are many more amazing things for me to learn in the near future, and I'm ready. Use me.
